Business Insights Strategist
The experience with the company and its employees was really positive from beginning to end. It started with an HR call, then a Teams interview with the hiring managers. The onsite involved presenting a take-home case study and then talking with senior leaders. Overall, it was a smooth, fair, and quick process.
- Can you share an instance where you resolved a problem?
Customer Service Associate
This was for a new store opening. I had a phone screen with the GM, and then an in-person interview with two different managers. The interviews were nice. What upset me a little is they were interviewing 150 people for 40 jobs. They should have narrowed down their applicant pool more before doing in-person interviews with the candidates they wanted to bring on. Just out of mutual respect.
- Tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult customer.
- How would you handle a difficult customer?
Real Estate Paralegal
The interview process had several rounds. It started with a phone screen, then moved to a virtual interview, and finished with an in-person meeting. During the in-person part, I got to meet several of the people I'd be working with directly. I had the chance to ask questions freely about my responsibilities, the company culture, and the company's core values.
- What is your motivation for seeking employment at Wawa?
Consumer Insights Intern
The whole process was pretty good overall. I had a phone interview where they asked some behavioral questions. Then, I had a final interview with two people from the team. It's always a bit tricky interviewing with two people, but they were nice and made it seem okay. A few weeks later, I got an automated email from Workday saying I wasn't selected. It would have been nice if a real person had sent it or if they'd given any feedback.
