The interview was very professional, but the interviewer apparently knew from the start that I wouldn't get the job, and instead considered me for a much lower position than the one I applied for. It would have been better to know upfront that I wasn't being considered for the role I applied for.

I talked to the recruiter and it seemed promising, but I didn't get the offer after the final in-person interview. The recruiter was great, and we had a good chat about the business and how I could help with operations if I got the job. After two calls with the recruiter, I had a face-to-face interview with the area manager and two other managers. They did a panel-style discussion and asked questions. They were also really nice and easygoing. I didn't hear back from anyone directly, but I did get a standard email from the recruiter saying they weren't interested.

The interview process was really easy and comfortable. I didn't feel overwhelmed or like I was being grilled. I already felt like part of the family, and I wasn't even hired yet. They asked the usual questions you'd expect in an interview. Just be yourself and let your resume speak to your experience.
