So after you submit the application with all your details, you log into this dashboard thingy. There are two tasks waiting for you there. First, you gotta do this pattern exercise, it's like those non-verbal reasoning tests you see in SATs. Then, there's the video interview, where they ask the usual stuff like why Vodafone and why you're keen on this specific graduate scheme.

Applied online, then did an online HireVue which had some logic questions and short video questions about my motivations and previous experience. If I passed that, the next stage was an in-person assessment centre with multiple stages. We had a group task and some data to analyse, then an individual behavioural interview, and another individual presentation with some preparation time. Overall vibe was positive, I have enjoyed the in-person assessment day, and left me with positive perception of Vodafone.

You'll start by submitting your CV and details through the online portal. If shortlisted, a recruiter will call to discuss your experience and why you want to join Vodafone. You might also have to complete online questionnaires, like a personality assessment or a reasoning test (numerical, verbal, or logical). Some roles might require a video interview where you record your answers to questions first. The final stage is often an Assessment Centre or Further Interviews, which can be a half-day or full-day event. You could be given a case study or a task, like a presentation on a new idea. You'll also have interviews, which might be competency-based with a recruiter or a technical interview with a senior employee.

A Vodafone recruiter will reach out to you to chat about the role and the interview stages. First, you'll have a take-home task where you need to build a one-page Weather forecast page using Angular, HTML, CSS, and JS. This page should fetch data from a local API. They'll be looking at your code's readability, if you followed the DRY principle, and if you used Angular best practices. UI also matters.
