First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Vodafone.
Sales Advisor
I found this job online and applied, and then the very next day, the recruiter called me to schedule a telephone interview for the following day. During the call, they asked me some questions, but they kept cutting me off as if they wanted to finish quickly. The call only lasted 9 minutes because they weren't interested in me, so I didn't get an in-person interview.
- Can you tell me about your availability for work?
Sales Advisor
It was a 1-on-1 interview. They asked general competency questions like why you want to join Vodafone and why sales. Then there was a role play exercise where you act as an advisor and a difficult customer. You'll get prep time and need to stay calm. You'll review the options and ask questions to figure out the problem. Don't hesitate to offer goodwill if needed.
- Can you share an experience where you worked towards achieving targets?
- What motivates you to join Vodafone?
- Why sales?
Sales Advisor
You had to do an extensive test. After that, there were multiple interviews. The whole process is intensive, but really good to go through.
