First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Vodafone.
Deputy Manager
The interview was straightforward, not too difficult, with just two rounds: a technical round and a manager round. I had the manager round on the same day as the technical round. The HR response wasn't great, but otherwise, everything went well.
- Why did you leave your previous job?
Service Manager
First, I had an intro and prescreening chat with the recruiter about how things work. Then, I did two more interviews, one with the manager and another with a senior teammate. After that, there was a situational case study where I had to prep a presentation beforehand and then give it to the panel, followed by a Q&A session. The final step was an interview with the manager's manager.
- Describe how you'd manage a major customer escalation due to a service SLA breach, including specific examples and their results.
Commercial Manager
I had a phone screening with HR, and then the very next day, a virtual interview with the hiring manager. After that, there was a second interview where I had to present a case to the hiring manager and a peer. Four days later, HR gave me good feedback and said I was on to the final interview, but it had to be scheduled for when the person got back from leave. Then, they ghosted me for three weeks. When I followed up, they said the presentation wasn't good enough and they couldn't move forward with my application. Honestly, be respectful and mindful of candidates, be honest, and please, don't ghost people. It's not respectful.
- Can you tell me about your biggest achievement?
