Graduate Scheme
So after you submit the application with all your details, you log into this dashboard thingy. There are two tasks waiting for you there. First, you gotta do this pattern exercise, it's like those non-verbal reasoning tests you see in SATs. Then, there's the video interview, where they ask the usual stuff like why Vodafone and why you're keen on this specific graduate scheme.
- Can you share an experience where you struggled to work with a team or an individual, and what steps did you take to overcome it?
- Why did you choose Vodafone?
- What specifically attracts you to this graduate scheme?
Graduate Role
The interview process involved a group task, an individual presentation, and a standard competency interview. I felt I performed quite well, especially in the group task compared to other candidates, but unfortunately, I didn't pass. I was surprised by the lower standard of candidates compared to other graduate schemes I've interviewed for.
- Can you describe your ability to build connections and provide an example of a challenge you overcame?
- Tell me about a challenge you successfully completed.
Graduate Program
The interview process had two main parts: the "Pattern Challenge" and "Video Interviews." The first part assessed your analytical thinking. The second part was similar to face-to-face interviews, where you'd record your answers in one take. A countdown timer starts for preparation once a question appears, and it's the same for every question. There's no strict time limit for the Pattern Challenge, but solving it quickly can boost your score.
- Could you share your motivations for applying to Vodafone?
- What would you do in a situation where you have a disagreement with your manager?
- How do you approach planning your tasks when facing an urgent deadline?
