The interview was straightforward and centered on actual experience. It began with a video call with a recruiter. They inquired about my previous work history, my motivation for seeking this position, and my comfort level with the physically demanding nature of the job. They also asked about my strategies for handling customer objections and requested an example of a time I fell short of a target, including the steps I took to improve.

First, there was a Zoom call with the franchise company which was like a prescreen. Then, a few days later, I got a phone call to set up an in-store interview. I met with a manager and an assistant manager there. They promised to get back to me by a certain day at the latest, but I never heard from them. I was even told during the interview to turn down other job interviews. I felt like I jumped through hoops just to not get a response. It took me emailing and calling them multiple times to finally get a rejection email saying the role was filled. They also expected me to attend the interview at short notice.
