My interview at Ticketmaster Chile was a really good experience. It was a group thing with other people applying, and they asked us about our past work in customer service and with events. The person interviewing us talked about the company's values and why teamwork and communication are so important, particularly for big concerts.
- Can you share your previous customer service experience and any customs service experience you have?

I had three interviews: one with HR, another with the person I would be replacing, and a final one with my potential boss. The HR interview was okay, they were empathetic and asked moderately difficult questions. The interview with the person I was replacing was short and it was clear they didn't want to be there. The last interview was with my would-be boss. From the start, they seemed stressed. During the video call, their daughter appeared, which I found inappropriate. The most notable thing about this last interview was that the interviewer wasn't prepared, didn't have an interview guide, and was improvising questions. They talked more than I did, but in a rambling way, and made some inappropriate comments.

I got a call from a recruiter for a pre-screening, but after we talked, I heard nothing back for more than a month. The recruiter eventually got back to me and said the job had changed to a more senior role that I might be a better fit for. But, the second chat was pretty much the same as the first one, making me wonder if they're keeping their candidate records straight. Also, the recruiter called without setting up a time beforehand, and the phone connection was bad, which made talking tough. All in all, it was a bummer.

- What are your salary expectations?

The process was messy. They rescheduled the in-person interview twice and on the day, they changed the time from 11 am to 1 pm last minute. After the interview with the CFO, it took them about 15 days to give feedback, which only came after my follow-up, via WhatsApp at 4 am (!!!), with a "cultural fit" explanation. Interestingly, this explanation came after I mentioned during the process that I'm not a fan of shows, which apparently weighed more than my technical qualifications. Being a multinational in Brazil, all communication was in English. Stiff culture, messy process. Oh, and the website to buy tickets? Just as bad.
