Frontend Engineer
A recruiter reached out and I was scheduled to meet with a member of the team. That went well and I was given a take-home test. I got a rejection email after submitting the test with no detailed feedback on the submitted exercise. Overall it was okay and I am looking to apply again.
- Can you introduce yourself and mention your preferred tech stack?
- Complete a take-home test.
Senior Frontend Developer
The process started with a 45-minute cultural chat and was followed by a 2-hour technical interview. There was some back and forth regarding the role's employment type (permanent vs. contract) and the offered rate, which fluctuated before settling. During the initial chat, the interviewer questioned my previous project choices and design decisions I wasn't involved in. Based on this, they decided I wasn't a good fit and informed me via email that they were moving forward with another candidate. It felt like a waste of time.
- What was your reasoning for choosing React.js?
- Was there an alternative to using multiple pages, such as a single-page application?
Front End Developer
You first apply and then have a recruiter call to see if you're a fit. If that goes well, they'll set up a technical interview. The last step is an HR and manager round.
- Questions about basic React.js
- Some basic JavaScript questions
- Some low-level logical questions
