Learning Specialist
I was contacted by the recruiter pretty fast after applying. He asked about my current job experience, skills, and my reasons for leaving. This part was nice and positive. Then, 2 days later, I had an online meeting with the HR Manager and the person currently in the role. The interview lasted 30 mins. The manager asked question after question really fast, and I answered them all. It felt rushed, like she wanted to get it over with. I got the impression the company is very stressful, with no room for mistakes. This was based on her saying that if you don't answer an email from a hire-up immediately, someone will come to your cubicle to ask why. I thought, 'Really? What if I was in the bathroom?' That didn't feel right. Another red flag was that the current person in the role didn't say anything during the interview. I thought that was strange; wouldn't you want to give a candidate some insight? I finally got to ask 2 questions after the HR Manager grilled me for most of the time since we were running out of the 30 mins. I only got to ask one question to the current person, and then another to the HR Manager, who then took over. The HR Manager did all the talking, and the other person was silent. I would have liked to hear more from the current Learning Specialist about the job since she's the one doing it. Overall, I left feeling like the place wouldn't be a good fit at all. I have a feeling there's more to the Kraft Group than meets the eye, stuff that isn't being said. It seems like a high-stress place to work.
- What's your reason for wanting to leave your current job?

Starts with asking you to record a video answering questions solo, which is very uncomfortable and impersonal. Then, still follows up with a recruiter screen as if the video screen wasn't enough already. Then they just went quiet for weeks. Their emails come from some kind of automated no-reply system so I didn't even know how to get back in touch with the recruiter I spoke to lol. I tried emailing for an update to no response. Then eventually got another automated rejection weeks later. Not a great process overall. Oh and they also had me do some kind of IQ test disguised as a game... is that even legal? Oh, well.
- Standard behavioral questions were asked.

The first part of the interview doesn't even involve talking to a person. You have to record yourself answering some questions and then play some games, kind of like a kid would. It felt like a total lack of respect for candidates. After I finished the virtual interview, I kept getting the same messages reminding me to do it or to ignore them if I already had. I also got repeated messages saying I was still being considered. Then, two weeks later, I finally got a real update: the job posting was filled and closed. Thanks for nothing! My suggestion: Actually talk to the candidates! I know it sounds like a wild idea, but maybe you'd find better candidates if you took the time to get to know them instead of using a weird video tool.
- In what ways do you see yourself contributing to this team?
- Can you share an experience where you had a conflict with a coworker and how you handled it?
- Could you tell us a bit more about yourself?
Salesforce Developer
I had an initial screening call with a recruiter where we talked about my background, skills, and career goals. It was a chance for me to learn about the company and for them to see if I was a good fit. After that, I had a technical assessment to test my skills and knowledge for the job. Then, I had a panel interview with the hiring team, which was a good way for them to evaluate me from different perspectives. Finally, there was a behavioral interview to check my people and problem-solving skills by asking about past experiences.
