Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Kraft Group.
Brand Ambassador
I had an interview with two really nice people who made me feel really comfortable. The whole thing was about 20 minutes long and I got feedback about a week later.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What's a weakness you're working on?
- What made you apply for this position?
Marketing
I had a phone interview, then was asked to come into the office for an interview where I had to give a presentation on a sports marketing issue. They initially said it would just be a few people, but when I got there, the whole boardroom was packed with people from all over the company.
- Over the next few years, which social media platform do you think companies should prioritize for development?
Marketing
Their one-way video interviews are the worst I’ve ever experienced. You only get one shot to record your answer after just 30 seconds to prep for each question. I’ve done other video interviews where you get unlimited prep time and retakes. One-way video interviews are already tough and impersonal, but this adds unnecessary pressure. I really hope they change these settings.
- Why should we hire you for this position?
- Can you share an instance of a challenging situation you faced at work?
- Could you elaborate on your background and experience?
