First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Kraft Group.
Human Resources
First there was a video phone screen that felt really awkward and uncomfortable. After that, there were multiple in-person interviews. During the video screen, it was hard because you couldn't ask clarifying questions or really read body language, so it was tough to know how you were doing or what they thought.
- About how many emails do you typically handle daily?
Human Resources
I first had to do this video interview where I prerecorded my answers. They'd ask a question, I'd get 60 seconds to prep, and then 60 seconds to record. If they liked my answers, I'd get a phone interview. It was pretty tough. After that, I talked to someone from recruiting.
- Describe your ideal work-life balance.
Human Resources
My interview with HR was both unpleasant and disappointing. Being a diverse candidate, I could tell immediately she was not pleased to see me. She did not smile once, was not friendly, and then preceded to describe the position so unpleasantly knowing it would deter me from wanting to pursue the opportunity (working long hours, highly administrative even though this was a senior management role, no flexibility everyone arrives and leaves at the same time). I was so happy to walk out of this interviewing not wanting this role, grateful for what I have.
- Basic interview questions were asked.
