The process was structured but pretty straightforward: HackerRank test for technical skills, then VidCruiter for quick screening questions and a pre-recorded video interview. After that, a Bryq assessment covering personality, cognitive, and skills, followed by MS Teams interviews with the hiring team, and finally a decision from the hiring committee. They use platforms like VidCruiter and Bryq to keep things fair and streamlined.

This was a mid-level senior role. They reached out to me on March 14th. There was a phone screen within a week. Then a 3 week wait for the first behavioral panel interview round which was about an hour. The next interview was scheduled within 3 days and was also a behavioral panel interview round, about an hour. After the second round, they took 1 month to tell me I wasn't successful. It was a good interview experience but the wait times made it poor overall, so I wouldn't recommend this process.

So, I applied for a job and then withdrew it, but then they emailed me saying I was moving forward anyway. Before the actual interview stages, you have to do a one-way video interview with pre-recorded questions. If you pass that, you then have to do *another* video interview on their platform, also pre-recorded. Honestly, this whole thing made me question the company culture and if they respect candidates at all. It feels like they aren't treating it like a collaboration, which is a big red flag for me. I'd say people should probably steer clear if this is how they operate.

The interview started with introductions, then I got an overview of the company and the position. After that, there was a set of questions that they had prepared, followed by some time for me to ask questions. The interviewer did ask questions but they were not too strict or specific. The topics covered included how I would act in work situations, my strengths and weaknesses, and things I am generally interested in.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • I was asked about my hobbies and interests outside of work, and my thoughts on living in a small, remote community to see if I'd be a good long-term fit.
  • My interviewer asked about my hobbies and interests outside of work.
  • I was asked about my feelings regarding living in a small and remote community.
