Talent Attraction Manager
I was contacted by a recruiter from the company, and I had two interviews. One with the recruiter herself and another with the head of the area. The first was more of a screening, and for the second, I had to present a project/business case. They were extremely kind, and their process surprised me because it was friendly and creative (for example, finalists could choose a charity to donate a certain amount of euros to, which I don't remember).
- You contacted me, I'm just evaluating.
- Tell us about your plan to attract talent to the company.
Product Manager
Overall a good experience, however, it was very slow and responses were delayed. I kicked off the interview process in late July 2022. My initial call was supposed to be 30 mins, but it went for 1hr because the interviewer read out the entire list of benefits. After the intro call, there was a cultural fit interview, a take-home assignment, and then a presentation. Everyone I interacted with was nice and made me feel welcomed. However, during my first call, I was told how important a fast interview process is for Stuart. It ended up taking 2 months. I didn't get any feedback after the final round, which is a shame after investing so much time. The company culture seems nice, and if the process hadn't been so slow (maybe due to summer holidays / recession?), I think we would have been a good match.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What motivates you to want to work for Stuart?
- Describe a product that you're enthusiastic about.
QA Manager
The interview process started with a recruiter who was very nice and transparent, explaining everything and discussing my experience. They mentioned the process would take about two weeks, including an assignment to be completed within 48 hours between the second to last and last steps. Next, I had a great interview with my direct manager, and we really connected. About an hour later, I got the assignment. I sent it back the next morning. After about 8 days of silence, despite follow-ups, they finally gave feedback (which was good) but mentioned someone else had already taken the position. It felt a bit like I was ignored after putting in effort and getting positive feedback.
- How do you approach team objective setting?
- Can you describe your methods for individual goal setting?
- There was a coding skill test involved.
HR Operations Manager
Multiple rounds to meet the team and a business case presentation. The process was very well managed by the Talent Acquisition team, who responded quickly after each round, quickly managed invitations to the next round, and kept the candidate informed at all times. The explanation of the content of each round was clear, which made preparation easier. The interviewers were approachable and focused on both your professional experience and who you are as a person, which is valued and shows the great culture of the company.
- Tell me about your previous experience.
- What are your personal values?
- What is your understanding of our business model?
