Operations Manager
It was quite a long process but I definitely understood why it was needed. There wasn't a single stage in the process where I felt was redundant or unnecessary! The process involved: 1. Call with HR 2. Interview with hiring manager 3. Case study presentation with hiring manager and an ops manager from another team 4. Interview with skip level 5. Interview with direct report 6. Final call with hiring manager The Stuart team is super nice and there wasn't a single second I felt unwelcome or lost! The HR who was handling my case is one of the sweetest ladies I've ever come across. She called me at every step along the way and prepared me for the following rounds.
- In your opinion, what is the most crucial aspect for couriers?
- What do you perceive as the primary challenge associated with this position?
- Could you describe your approach to managing your team?
City Manager
The whole process was a terrible experience with the worst communication I've ever had. They even changed the job title and expectations at the end. No one told me, and I only found out because a recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn about the new version of the role. This change meant I had to do a second final interview, which was sprung on me with no explanation. In the end, I was unsuccessful, and they said I lacked relevant experience. I'm not sure why it took a CV, cover letter, and three interviews over six weeks to figure that out. I also got a copy-paste rejection email signed by someone I never spoke to and who didn't send the email.

Operations Manager
The interview process kicked off with a 60-minute online analytics test. Based on those results, I had a 1:1 chat with the HR Manager. It was a casual talk to see if I was a good fit for Stuart. The interviewer's energy really showed me the company culture and made me more excited about the role. After that, I had another 1:1, this time with the Country Manager. This conversation was more focused on the job itself, including some behavioral questions about how I've handled challenges in the past. The last stage involved a case study. The HR sent over the questions, and I had a week to prepare a presentation to address them. During the presentation, each of the 5 panel members asked questions to gauge my real-time responses. The overall vibe was positive, which helped me feel comfortable and perform my best.

- What metrics would you use to evaluate a City's performance?
