Customer Renewal Specialist
The interview process was really good. They communicated clearly and professionally at every step. I got feedback quickly after my interviews and was scheduled for the next step right away. The recruiter and hiring team explained everything that was coming up, which made me feel prepared. All in all, it felt organized, efficient, and they respected my time.
- What is your motivation for working?
HR Business Partner
The interview process was thoughtful and consistent. Each of the five interviews was enjoyable and allowed time for genuine conversation and mutual connection. It was evident throughout the process that the team truly embodies the core values of Collaboration, Accountability, Readiness, and Empathy that they promote across the company. It’s clear that putting people first is a true priority, reflected even in their hiring process. I’m so grateful I get to be part of this team!

Intern
The interview process was good. Interviews started on time. I felt comfortable answering questions at every stage. I got enough time to complete technical tasks. They responded to my answers politely without any judgment. After each interview, I received an email from the recruiter detailing the next steps and expected waiting time for results. I liked the open interview format, which helped me learn more about the internship. The initial phone call with the recruiter and the overall process made me feel like this is a company that cares about its employees.
- What's your preferred operating system?
People Partner
I applied for the People Partner role two years ago and had a really bad experience as an experienced HR candidate. Initially, I had a great phone chat with the recruiter who was covering for another recruiter on this People Partner role. She quickly set up two virtual interviews for me with the Director HRBP (second interview) and Lead People Partner (third). Everything was going well until the recruiter who was initially out of office returned. A few days after my third interview, he contacted me. He wasn't calling to share the hiring decision. Instead, he wanted to screen me as if it was my first interview. Despite me explaining I'd already completed three interviews with his teammate's help, he insisted on interviewing me right then. Fortunately, I was available, so I 're-did' the interview. During his interview, he was brief with me and reacted negatively to my answers, making it seem like I was wasting his time, yet he kept questioning me. It felt like an interrogation. After this call, I never heard back from SolarWinds; their HR team ghosted me. It's worth noting this recruiter had no profile picture on LinkedIn, which seemed suspicious from the start when he called unexpectedly.
