Inside Sales Representative
The interview process had 4 rounds, starting with the phone screen. My recruiter, Onna, found me on LinkedIn and was super helpful the whole time. The whole thing took about 2 weeks. Everyone I talked to was really nice and easygoing. The interviews felt like regular chats, and I liked getting feedback from everyone. It was a good experience overall!

Inside Sales Representative
I was first brought on as a temp. They called me about two weeks after I submitted my resume. Since I was living in another city, they set up a phone interview for the next day, which they said would be 30 minutes to an hour. It turned out to be a behavioral interview. I wasn't ready for it, but I was totally honest. I felt like I totally bombed it, and the interviewer's curt tone didn't give me much hope. Almost exactly 24 hours later, he called and offered me a temp position (TQ) for two months. They said these two months would be like an ongoing interview to see if they'd hire me full-time. After nine weeks as a temp, I'd basically become the team lead. I was coaching others, sharing tips, outlasting eight other temps who were let go, and helping our manager in meetings. I also met the metrics, passed along good leads, and learned about the products on my own time. As the two months neared its end, my manager told me that while I was hardworking, smart, impressive, a natural leader, and knew the products well, he'd denied me twice for a full-time role. He thought I talked too much, wasn't confident or arrogant enough, wasn't a natural salesperson, and would have a harder time getting a full-time position despite the great feedback I got 99% of the time. He said I needed to be more concise. This might have been a motivational tactic, and it worked. I started asking other managers for a few minutes to talk about open positions. Four other managers interviewed me for their teams. They were all impressed and wanted me, but only one had an open spot. These interviews were pretty informal, one-on-one, basically to see if I'd be worth the risk and if I could help their team succeed. I felt everyone I spoke with was honest, straightforward, caring, and intelligent.
