I really liked the interview with the manager at SolarWinds. It felt like a real chat, not an interview, and it made me more excited about maybe joining. The conversation showed how SolarWinds is really about its 'people first' idea. Even though I'm missing some technical skills, they noticed and liked that I'm eager to learn and grow, which made me feel good and motivated.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I had an amazing interview experience with SolarWinds, starting from the first contact all the way to the offer. The team was super professional and really made me feel welcome. They were always on time, which was great. They laid out what to expect clearly from the get-go. The interview process was structured in three parts. First, I spoke with the Director of Customer Success (who's the Hiring Manager) and some Customer Success Managers, all in the US. Then, there was a Peer Interview with Senior Customer Success and Technical Support Managers from the Philippines. Finally, I met with the VP for Customer Success in Ireland. This gave me a really good feel for the company. Everyone seemed genuinely interested and asked questions that were specific to what I was saying, not just generic stuff. It felt pretty casual, and I was comfortable sharing my experiences. They even shared their own stories, which helped me see where I stand. What was really impressive was how fast everything happened – all three interviews were done in less than three days! The offer came exactly two weeks after I first met the Hiring Manager. Big thanks to Sarah the Recruiter for keeping me in the loop constantly. There was a slight hiccup where I got a bit confused about the role because of the questions, but it turned out they were just trying to see where I'd fit best. I mentioned this to Sarah, and she quickly set up another chat with the Hiring Manager. He was happy to talk more about the role, answer my questions, and give feedback, showing they really value our time and input. As someone switching careers, this whole experience was just fantastic. It boosted my confidence and really showed me how much they care about creating a positive environment. I'm thrilled to be joining SolarWinds and can't wait to do great things together!

I had two interviews. First, I talked with the team manager, and then I met with three team members. Both chats were pretty chill.
