This interview process is structured, formal, and can be stressful, but it's also informative and evaluative. It's often nerve-wracking but insightful, needing a strategic, dynamic, and interactive approach. The stages are preparatory, competitive, and challenging, feeling very personal. You need to be persuasive, professional, and analytical in a conversational, behavioral, or technical setting. It demands adaptive, reflective, and rigorous thinking while being observed. It's a judgmental yet inclusive, thorough, and transparent process that’s intentional, collaborative, and decisive. It’s all within a time-bound, goal-oriented framework that’s investigative, sometimes motivational, and requires articulate, scenario-based responses. The focus is on qualifications, responses are driven, measured, and result-oriented.

The interview was pretty easy and everyone was nice. We started with me introducing myself and getting a rundown of what a Personal Shopper does. The manager then asked me about my experience with customers, if I could handle a busy workplace, and my availability. We also chatted about working with others and different ways to deal with shopping scenarios. It felt very casual and welcoming.

This was a video interview via Zoom. It was a quick and swift process for Safeway as they were in desperate need of pharmacists at the time. I applied through LinkedIn and was given my interview date a week after I applied, then the offer came the week after the interview. There was Nothing much but many basic generic questions were asked for the grad intern interview.

First, you gotta submit your application online or in the store, make sure to put in your work history and what you're good at. Then, someone will look over it. If you seem like a good fit, they might give you a quick call to chat for about 15-30 minutes. They'll ask about your background, when you can work, and why you wanna work here. They might also ask about your customer service skills and how you solve problems. If they like you after that call, they'll ask you to come in for an interview at the store. This could be with the manager or some of the team. They'll probably ask you about your past jobs, how you'd handle customers, and tough situations.
