The interview was about 20 minutes long. They asked me questions about myself, why I was interested in working there and at that particular store, and about my future plans like how long I saw myself working there or if I was planning on going to university. There were also some technical questions.

The interview process was quite thorough, not overly difficult but not too simple either, with a fast turnaround to start working. We talked about why I applied for this particular job and my background in cashier and customer service roles. I was asked about my basic availability, for instance, if I could work in other departments or positions, and how I felt about that. I was told that after being hired, I'd likely receive training in most of the other departments over time.
