It was okay. I had 2 people interview me through zoom, one of them was very open and nice, the other one just complicates everything. One of them started quizzing me on random chemistry facts and was overall very firm and serious.

First, I had an introductory call with the recruiter. Then, they sent me logic and English tests. Later, there was a call with another recruiter where they asked me some questions in English. Finally, I had a personal and in-person presentation (with all candidates) in a pitch format about my professional journey, explaining why I should work at the company. It's worth noting that the formal parts started 1.5 hours late, and it wasn't mentioned that it would last the whole day, although they did offer meals.

So the interview was basically with the team that I would be working with, and they really dug into my past experience. They seemed especially interested in my background with licensing from my previous job. They focused on the points mentioned in my resume.

Behavioral Technical Case

I was contacted by a recruiter who phone interviewed me about myself and my background. After two weeks, I had an online interview with HR and the Hiring Manager. There were two stages of interviews: the first online, and the second face-to-face. The HR representative mentioned that for the second interview, they would have to wait until I returned to my home country because I was living abroad at the time. It was a good interview experience with Sabic overall. However, the recruiting process was slow, taking 2 to 4 weeks for Sabic to respond.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Can you describe your previous experience?
  • What are the fundamental engineering standards?
  • What process equipment are you familiar with?
