Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SABIC.
Analyst
I had a great and informative interview process. I interviewed with several people in one day and it wasn't overwhelming at all. The company covered all my travel expenses.
- Could you tell me about your experience in the legal field?
Analyst
The interview process felt straightforward. It started with a phone interview with the hiring manager. If successful, the next step was an in-office interview with multiple people, including the hiring manager again. It seemed like they were interviewing a lot of candidates for many open roles, and I got the impression they were struggling to make decisions, as the same positions kept reappearing.
- Be prepared for standard behavioral questions, particularly during the panel interview with HR.
Analyst
The interview process involved typical questions. The first interview was 30 minutes long, and the second one lasted about an hour. They asked about situational scenarios and the common 'tell me about yourself' question. It wasn't a difficult interview, felt pretty standard.
- Could you introduce yourself and explain your motivation for joining this company?
