The interview process was really long, and the recruiter didn't give me updates when they said they would, which was a waste of my time. I drove 4 hours for an interview that started late and didn't even get a job offer. During the interview, I felt like management was being sexist, especially with a question like “what’s something you wish you would’ve knew going into Ryder?” And one of the managers responded, “if I were to give you advice it would be to speak up if you hear anything hear that makes you uncomfortable.” There were not many women working there. If you're interviewing people who don't live in the state, you should allow virtual interviews! It was a total waste of my time. Also, there is no work-life balance with 3-11pm shifts and no weekends off for the first 2 years before you can become a manager.

The interview process wasn't super formal. It mostly depended on the branch managers for the first chat. Mine was mainly about my personality and if I could handle working around guys with a stereotypical blue-collar attitude. After that, upper management called me for a secondary phone interview. Then there was a background check.

The interview process involved 2 phone interviews and an initial recruitment call. Communication with the recruiter was straightforward and efficient, with any questions I had being answered promptly. After a drug test was scheduled and completed, an offer was extended.

Got a call for a prescreening interview, then met the hiring manager in person. They gave me a tour of the place and asked some questions, mainly about relocating. The manager said the recruiter would follow up with feedback. Then, radio silence. It was a really bad experience with unprofessional recruiters ghosting candidates. I had to email the recruiter myself, and they said they didn't have an answer and I should call the manager. I did, and the manager told me to call the recruiter back. They kept passing me around until I gave up.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Would you be open to relocating?
