First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ryder System.
Operations Manager
It started with an in-person meeting at the shop with OS and FAM. Then, there was a second round over Teams with the Director and HR. The questions were pretty direct, and since it's an entry-level spot, they actually helped guide you through the answers.
- What are the recent trends in logistics and freight?
Operations Manager
First, I was contacted by a recruiter who was out of state. Then, there was a phone interview that was basically just a job description rundown. After that, I had an in-person interview with the location supervisor and manager where they just talked about the working conditions and the pros and cons of the job, no real questions. The last interview was a phone interview and it was the most professional and difficult one.
- How do you manage handling many tasks that need to be done quickly?
Operations Manager
The interview was pretty relaxed and not high-pressure. I could ask questions, and they answered them. They were professional and knew all the answers, and if they didn't, they got back to me.
- How do you deal with people who are difficult?
