Ghosted After Final Round! There was initial screening with HM then 4 interviews with different people. A lot of questions about previous experience. Few design questions, few leetcodes. Most questions were around leadership principles. They put a lot of emphasis on metrics, make sure all your answers are measurable. Interviewers were nice and professional. But recruiter experience really left a bitter taste. Did not respond to my questions and completely ghosted me after the final interview.

The interview process had a lot of steps. I spoke with about 4 or 5 people before they gave me a coding test. Everyone I spoke with was really nice and chill. The coding test wasn't super tough, and it focused more on my plain JavaScript skills rather than specific frameworks, which I thought was smart. The part that was really challenging was coming up with answers for all the Amazon leadership principles, so you should definitely get ready for that.

The interview process involved an introduction, where I was asked to share about my experience with three to five questions. Then, there were two coding problems focusing on bit operations and algorithms. Following that, I was quizzed on domain knowledge like the ISP pipeline, sensor operation, image processing, and tuning techniques. Finally, I had the chance to ask questions about the role.

So this was for a contractor role, so it was with a few different companies. It started with a phone screen from an HR person. Then there was a technical interview. After that, a technical interview with the client's technical lead (which was Ring/Amazon). Finally, a technical/cultural interview with the technical lead. The whole process was super quick, Amazon really doesn't waste time. After the client interview, which felt really good, I got an automated email from the staffing company saying they chose someone else. I asked for feedback but never heard back.
