First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Richemont.
Workday Specialist
The interview process had 3 stages before I got the final answer. The first interview was with the recruiter for 1 hour, where they asked about my experience on my CV. The second interview was with the hiring manager and another person, lasting 1 hour. They explained the job and asked me to talk about my experience and motivation. The third interview was with the department director for 1 hour, where they asked me to describe my experience. The whole process was quite slow, taking over a month for a final reply, but the people were nice and friendly.
- Can you describe your experience and what you have accomplished?
- Could you detail your experience as listed on your CV?
- Please discuss your experience and what motivates you to pursue this role.
Consultant
Richemont offers a pleasant work environment, with a company culture focused on excellence and quality. The teams are multicultural, collaborative, and exchanges with the different Maisons of the group are very enriching. The projects are varied and allow for the development of solid skills. Good work-life balance, especially in Geneva.
- Could you tell me about the group?
- Can you describe the position?
Manager
Starts with a call with HR. After that, there was a very quick response by email notifying that the PA of a manager will get in touch to schedule an in-person meeting with the manager. At the in-person meeting with the manager, we talked about experience, skills, why this role, and how you fit. And in a few weeks, an email inviting to the next meeting. The third round was with a panel of 3 senior people, with similar questions to the previous meeting, but in a shorter version. And after that, the final decision was communicated in 1 week. Overall, the process took 2,5 months from the application.
- Can you tell me about a project you managed that was successful, what contributed to its success, and what was your role in it?
- What kind of team and work environments do you prefer to work in, and do you have a preference for small or large teams?
Sales Consultant
I applied for a Senior Sales Advisor role at Jaeger-LeCoultre, expecting a £40,000 salary. A recruiter contacted me, and initial talks seemed promising for a senior role in a restructured team. I prepared and interviewed with the Richemont talent team, sharing examples of my leadership and client development. Shockingly, after the interview, I discovered the role was actually a lower-paid, non-senior sales advisor position, which felt misleading. They told me they found other strong candidates, which felt like they found people willing to accept less pay. I felt my time was wasted, and I'm disappointed they overlooked my experience and passion for cost-cutting, especially given the apparent high turnover and restructuring.
- Can you share an instance where you received constructive feedback and how you applied it for improvement, detailing the result?
