Data Analyst
It was a typical interview process but there weren't really questions about my background with data. It was really a process to vouch if I followed their values, which I get to a certain extent. The interview questions were more to probe if I really believed in their product (I had never used Ramsey solution services or products so they had me watch a handful of videos) as well as if I was a devout Christian living in alignment with their interpretation of those values.

I was asked really personal questions and about my views on premarital s**. They even asked if I'd be spastic when just hanging out. I was promised free access to TMM, which never happened. A year later, I applied again multiple times and was rejected almost immediately, even though I knew the company well. It seems like if you mess up once during a high-pressure interview with an older guy grilling you on personal matters, they flag you and won't give you another chance. So, polish your answers and be ready for non-HIPAA compliant questions. Also, don't admit to using a credit card; I think that's why I didn't get the job – I mentioned using one for my cat's emergency surgery, an instance I don't regret. Even after feeling judged, I really wanted the role. Hope this helps, and good luck! Also, they want to eliminate all credit cards, so think about that and be ready to discuss your feelings on it.

Creative Designer
After I applied, Ramsey's recruitment team reached out within three days for a phone call. This was followed by another call to discuss a design challenge. I completed the challenge and then had an HR Zoom interview where they shared details about the company culture, specifically mentioning that Ramsey adheres to Christian values for its employees. They stated that if you don't share these values, you shouldn't apply. Ultimately, the design team selected other candidates whose design challenge submissions were a better match for their needs. I received a call from the recruiter informing me I wasn't selected, which I appreciated as it's good to be treated like a person. Ramsey is a challenging company to get into, but I'm proud of how far I progressed, preferring to be eliminated early rather than at the final stage.

Director
The process let me as a candidate get a strong sense of the company and the role. It was important to Ramsey that I interview them and get an in-depth perspective on leadership, the culture and what winning looks like. I was encouraged to ask any and all questions to help me in my decision to join the team. I rated the interview as difficult not as a negative, but because the process is so thorough. It’s a longer process than some may be accustomed to, however at the end of it, both Ramsey and the candidate should be very sure about the decision. I love how I was encouraged to interview them as much as they were interviewing me.
- Tell me about your skill set.
- Can you share your experience in leadership?
- How do you approach growth?
