Inside Sales
It was a long and super tough interview process, but I genuinely liked everyone I met and the overall experience. However, during the final interview, I was brought into a room with the three people who had already interviewed me. They then conducted a round-table questioning session, and the atmosphere shifted significantly. It felt like an interrogation, not in an angry way, but their expressions and tones became extremely serious, and all the previous warmth and encouragement disappeared. I sensed a definite change at that point. I didn't get a callback for any further interviews. Instead, I received an automated email stating I was no longer being considered.
- Can you tell me about your sales background?
- Describe a situation where you successfully closed a sale.
- How do you cope with being turned down?
Sales
The interview process was very thorough. I met with about 5 different employees in total. Everyone was nice. I got to have a final interview at a restaurant which was great. I think they are very thorough in their interview questions and provide realistic expectations about the job.
- Can you share an experience where you had to overcome a challenging situation?
Sales Representative
The interview process for this role was quite extensive and selective, though not overly difficult. They seem to prioritize personality fit over specific skill sets, which was an interesting approach. The whole thing took close to two months. It started with an initial HR phone screen, followed by a call with an individual, then another call with that person's manager, and finally a video interview with a third person. The next step was going to involve interviewing spouses, which I didn't get to. I also completed a DISC test for personality assessment. My score was average in the 'D' category, and I suspect they prefer candidates with high 'D' scores. While I was initially excited due to my admiration for Dave, the company culture felt a bit too corporate for my liking as I progressed. The people I interacted with were pleasant but had a somewhat cult-like atmosphere, as noted in other reviews. The salary discussed was considerably low, and I didn't reach the stage to discuss benefits.
- What's your knowledge about Dave?
