Scrum Master
I got a cold call about this job, and super quick after submitting my CV, maybe an hour, I had this really disrespectful screening. They went through my CV line by line, and it was clear they hadn't really read it past the beginning, even though I have years of experience in this role. They mentioned I was an internal referral and someone important named me. It felt like just another person in a huge line. People shouldn't be treated like this. If a CV doesn't fit, fine, but no need to be arrogant.
- Was your previous role less than two years long?
- And that one was also less than two years?
- I see.
Infrastructure Engineer
First, there was a Technical Round where they checked my technical skills and how I solve problems. They asked about my main skills, what I've done before, and gave me some technical problems to solve. They wanted to see how much I know, if I can actually use that knowledge, and if I can think clearly when stressed. Then, there was the Sapient Core Values Round, which was about whether I'd fit in and if I matched their values. This had questions about my work habits, how I work with others, if I take ownership, how I deal with clients, if I'm honest, and if I can adapt. They wanted to see if I live by Sapient's principles.
- Can you tell me about the project you are currently working on and describe its architecture?
- What is the architecture of your current project?
Trainee Engineer
So I interviewed with Publicis Sapient recently. The first round was technical, covering DSA, OOPs, and core concepts, along with a discussion about my projects and internship. They also asked some analytical questions based on real-world situations. The second round was more about communication, how adaptable I am, and teamwork. We talked about how I deal with challenges, conflicts, and deadlines. The interviewer was pretty supportive and helped me think about my strong points and how I solve problems. It was a good learning experience overall, testing both my technical and people skills.
- What data structure would you choose for efficient searching when dealing with millions of records?
Junior Associate Technology
So first there was an assessment that had 20 MCQ questions and 2 DSA easy java questions. Then there was a technical interview where they asked questions on Linked list, Hashmap, and basics data structure in Java. I had to write Java code for linked list reversal. There was also a simple reasoning puzzle. Some questions on software testing and waterfall and other models were asked. Finally, there were HR questions based on company situations.
