Product Manager
First, there was an HR chat about my background and if I'd be a good fit. Then, I talked to the hiring manager about product strategy, how I decide what to build, and working with different people. Lastly, there were some scenario questions about getting things done and working with other teams.
- How would you handle feature prioritization when facing conflicting stakeholder needs?
Product Manager
It was 4 rounds: first a recruiter screen where they asked basic questions like 'tell me about yourself' and 'why you're interested'. Then there was a data interview which involved a case study and analysis plus a walkthrough. After that, a product interview with a case study and questions about favorite products and why. The last round was a group interview that lasted 3 hours, where we were broken into groups of 5-6 people from different departments to create a presentation.
- Can you tell me about a product you really like and explain your reasoning?
- What is your favorite product and why?
Product Management Intern
The hiring process took about two weeks. It started with a technical interview that lasted 45 minutes where I had to analyze data in an excel workbook. Then, there was a 15-minute presentation of my findings. The whole thing was recorded, including my screen. After that, I had a behavioral interview with common behavioral and situational questions. I got an offer the day after finishing the behavioral interview.
- Why are you interested in Product Strategy (PS)?
- Why do you think you are a good fit for this role?
- Can you demonstrate your understanding of PS's services and strategic approach?
