The interview process had two rounds. The first round was quite long, about 3.5 hours, and really dug into Core Java, asking like 4-5 coding questions and about Spring Boot basics. Even though the first round was so long, they moved me to a second round that was about 2 hours. The second interviewer wasn't the best, seemed impatient and didn't really pay attention to what I was saying. First interviewer was an 8.5/10, the second one was a 2/10.

The interview process was smooth. Video interviews through Zoom went smoothly. We covered lots of Java concepts, Java Spring framework and Microservices overview. I had prepared some concepts and practiced coding beforehand, which helped me immensely during the interview. I could maintain composure and radiated confidence during the whole interview. The technical interview went for around 1 hour, and the interviewer was professional and kept his "Camera On" for this duration.

I was looking for a new opportunity and found a role at Publicis Sapient on LinkedIn. I applied directly and also got an employee referral a week later. Given the high number of applicants, I wasn't sure if I'd be noticed. However, after the referral, I got a call within two days. The HR person was friendly and set up a phone interview for the next day after some initial checks. I then had two technical interviews in the span of a week, and received an offer within 10 days.
