Round-1 covered a lot of Java: collections like hash maps, linked lists, generics, stream APIs, and lambdas, plus how to use them for things like employee data. Also went over OOPs concepts, exception handling, and then jumped into Selenium framework design using design patterns. We also talked about setting up E2E projects with Maven, CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins files, and Git commands. Round-2 was all about the Selenium framework and Rest Assured. Round-3 was just a behavioral check.

So I went through the interview process of PUBLICIS SAPIENT in mid August 2024. It was a pool campus drive for Noida and greater Noida colleges. The first step was resume shortlisting, and they cut about 50% of my MCA batch. Next, there was a technical + Apti. round, 45 minutes for each. The aptitude questions were tough for me, but the coding questions were easy. There were 2 coding questions, and I only remember one about the Fibonacci series, but they were tricky and needed careful reading. The results came out after 6-7 days; out of 35 students from my college, only 7 passed, and I was the only one from MCA, the rest were B.TECH. My interview was scheduled for the very next day, so be ready for sudden interviews. The first interview was technical, mostly about DSA with some networking questions since I told the interviewer I'd only done DSA. Honesty helps! I cleared the 45-50 min technical round with 2 other students, so 3 of us were left out of 7. Then came the HR interview, which was scary for me because it went badly, and the interviewer thought I was arrogant. Because of that, I wasn't selected. Good luck to anyone reading this. Prepare well and focus on your etiquettes.

The company visited our college and had these rounds scheduled. First was an Online Test with multiple choice questions on aptitude, logical reasoning, and basic technical skills. Then came an Offline Test plus a Coding Round where coding skills were tested, maybe in a proctored setting. After that, a Technical Interview, either one-on-one or panel, to evaluate technical knowledge, problem-solving, and project experience. Finally, an HR Round to check cultural fit, communication, and personality to see how well you match the company's values.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you explain Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and do some Java coding tasks, like Bubble Sort, traversing a Linked List, and give examples of Method Overloading and Method Overriding?
