Program Manager
First, there was a phone call with the recruiter. Then, I had a phone interview with someone from the Program Management team, but they switched it last minute to someone else, which felt a bit disorganized. After that, there was a 5-hour in-person group interview that included a project scoping and planning exercise. Honestly, it felt way too long and I was just thinking about lunch by the end, plus everyone was late, which was annoying because I still had to get back to my job. Finally, I had a follow-up in-person meeting with the hiring manager, who I didn't think was very professional.

Program Manager
Got an initial email from the recruiter about the company and the role, but the travel requirement (Mon-Thurs every week for 12-18 months) was a deal-breaker, so I passed. A few weeks later, they reached out again for a role with less travel. I interviewed, which included a case study and several in-person interviews. Afterward, they called to say I'd be a good fit for an IT position that did involve travel, which I declined. It seemed like a great company, but the 90% travel was too much. The case study was the toughest part, as I had to infer whether they were looking for front-end or back-end program management and tailor my approach accordingly.
- Are you willing to sacrifice your personal life for 2-3 years for the company?
Program Manager
There were 2 levels to the interview. First, a 2-hour session involving a case study and preparing a PPT. Second, a 1-hour interview to discuss the JD and the PPT from level 1. I really liked the interview process even though I wasn't selected. What was disappointing was the HR Recruiter not respecting my time. She also didn't bother to tell me the results. Sapient should be aware of this behavior from their HR/Recruitment teams.
- Work on a case study (e.g., XYZ wants to ramp up IT ops with latest technologies implemented for their E-com business) and prepare presentation slides.
- Discuss the case study and your prepared presentation.
