Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was pretty straightforward. The recruiter was awesome and walked me through the whole thing, giving good tips and seeming genuinely interested. Then I had an interview with one of the VPs where I learned more about the company, they asked some basic questions, and explained the sales process. The second interview was with another VP, JC. We talked more about the role, I got a tour, and did some in-person shadowing. JC seems like the main person in charge!

Behavioral Technical

It started with a recruiter screen call, about 15-30 mins. Then, an onsite with a senior team member. They gave a tour of the office and showed the different departments. After that, there was a 30-1hr session discussing their programs, asking questions, and having conversations. The same day, the final interview was with the lead/director, lasting about 30mins-1hour, focusing on behavioral questions and experience.

Behavioral Technical Coding

I had an initial chat with the recruiter which was pretty standard. Then I chatted with the director of application development, and that was focused on my resume and STAR questions. After that, I had a technical assessment with several devs. They gave me a repo to clone and implement a simple app with posts and comments. It was open-ended. I didn't hear anything back for 2 weeks and then got a rejection email. It seems like a few things are iffy about the company. I asked the devs what could be improved and one of them stalled to buy time while the other answered. The guy in the office looked around and then gave a non-answer. The fact that devs can't be honest isn't a good look. They also want you in the office 2 days a week if you're close, but you can be remote if you're further away.

  • Implement a basic app that includes posts and comments.
