Had an HR screening call that lasted about 15 minutes. After that, there was a 45-minute online coding interview. It was meant to be a code review, but they ended up asking general questions about DB, SQL, LINQ, services, and more. The interviewer had the answers written down and would correct me by reading the 'official' answer, even if mine was similar. A few days later, I got an email saying I didn't get the job because I lacked knowledge. Supposedly, the next steps were a 90-minute in-person coding and design interview, followed by interviews with HR and the group manager.

The interview process started with a screening phone call. Then, there was an introduction meeting which lasted an hour over Zoom. After that, we had a product sense interview, also an hour on Zoom. Next up was a product execution interview, an hour on Zoom or face-to-face. Following that was a product leadership interview, an hour on Zoom or face-to-face. Finally, there was an HR round.

First, I had an HR call where they asked about my previous experience and expectations. Then the manager sent an assignment. It was a long assignment but doable. After they checked my assignment, I got an email of acceptance. Next, there was an interview about the homework, which I passed. Finally, I interviewed with the director about strategic questions regarding tasks and products and projects, but I didn't pass that one.

I applied online and heard back pretty quickly. First, there was an HR chat, then an in-person meeting with a manager was supposed to happen. But, I had a lot of trouble with communication before the second interview. The date and time kept getting messed up, which was confusing. Since the HR person was in India, it took forever to get clear answers. I actually had to reach out to the local Korean team myself to sort out the interview time. The second interview was in person with the local team. The questions seemed super generic, like maybe AI-generated, but that was fine. The interviewers were nice, and it felt comfortable and respectful. What really bugged me was the lack of follow-up. After I sent in my written work and finished the second interview, I heard nothing for over a month, even after sending a polite follow-up. They said I'd get an update by the end of the next week, but nothing came. Then I saw the job listing again. It's one thing to be rejected after applying, but this is the first time I've been ghosted after several interview rounds. If you're thinking about applying, just know that things might start off okay but then get really unclear or unresponsive. So, use your time wisely and don't get your hopes up too high.
