Software Engineer
Shoutout to Selam for being proactive and keeping everything smooth and friendly. The interview process was well-structured and professionally managed. It included: initial recruiter screening, technical coding interviews, a system design round, and hiring manager/team discussions. The process was smooth overall, with clear communication at each stage. I had a very positive experience. The interviewers were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They created a comfortable environment and were open to discussions, making it feel collaborative. Visiting the office and meeting the team in person was a highlight, giving a great sense of the company culture. The recruiter was responsive and transparent, and the team was supportive. The offer process was smooth, flexible, and open to discussion; they were willing to revisit and improve the offer. Overall, a very strong interview experience with a great team and culture. The process was well-organized, and I felt respected.

Customer Service Representative
I applied online, had a phone screening with a recruiter, and then got an assessment. The recruiter call was fine, but the rest of the experience was bad. The assessment was really long, took a lot of time, and was confusing. They said I didn't need to know the product well, but the assessment required a lot of product knowledge. It was frustrating. The assignment had a ten-part exercise with mock customer scenarios, and one part needed a video. I also had to build a Monday.com board with specific things and make a five-minute video explaining it. I only had 24 hours for all of it. It seemed like they wanted people who already knew Monday.com really well. It would be super hard to do a good job on the board and everything else in 24 hours without experience, especially with the videos and no help. And it was all unpaid. After I sent it in, I got rejected a few hours later. I saw the job posted again later, which makes me wonder. They did respond fast, though. But because it was so much work, unpaid, and not what they said it would be, I wouldn't recommend interviewing there.

Customer Success Manager
The interview journey kicked off with a basic recruiter call to discuss my background. Next up was a take-home task on the platform, with a suggestion to cap it at 4–5 hours. After that, I had to present my work to two people from the team. The project guidelines were clear, but the presentation expectations weren't well-defined. Even though they said we weren't supposed to be product gurus, the questions they asked were pretty deep, which seemed a bit much given the time limit for the assignment. Overall, it was just an okay experience; better info on how to present would have made it smoother. The interviewers were nice and professional, though, hinting at a good company vibe.
- Can you share an instance where you faced a conflict with an internal team and describe how you resolved it?
Pre-Sales Engineer
The interview process had poor communication from the Monday team. The SE team interviewing seemed inexperienced and focused on platform knowledge rather than assessing applicant ability. The task involved deep configuration on a blank canvas without templates, which felt excessive given the platform's nature. A better approach would be to ask for a demo of a technology the applicant already knows, to gauge presentation and demo skills, not pre-paid Monday platform mastery. There was ghosting and minimal feedback. It seems they are looking for demo operators, not fully capable Sales Engineers.
