Content Manager
I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn and had a friendly first chat. Then I had an interview where they asked standard questions and some about my research background. After that, I got a challenging home assignment: build a webpage and create a presentation. I passed that stage. The next step was an in-person interview where I had to present my work to the marketing team. However, the interviewer focused on the webpage and asked very detailed technical questions about it and the copy, rather than my presentation. This was a bit of a surprise and not my preferred way to be interviewed, but I guess it tests adaptability. I didn't do well in that interview, which was disappointing but understandable. The overall process was decent, and the team made me feel comfortable. My advice is to prepare for both the presentation and the technical aspects of the assignment.

So my process was like this: First, I got my resume in through an employee referral. Then, they asked for my writing samples. After that, I had a phone interview, followed by a home assignment. Next, I had an in-person interview with the Head of Enterprise Marketing. Then, an in-person interview with HR. After that, another in-person interview with the Head of Enterprise Marketing and the Team Lead. Finally, I got the position offer. The whole thing from start to finish was really good. Everyone I met, from HR to the folks who helped me check in when I got to the office, were super nice and made me feel welcome. I always knew where I stood in the process and what to expect next, and everything was efficient and clear. The interviews themselves were professional, friendly, and made me really excited about the job. The company/department has great flexibility and potential for growth.
- Can you describe what kind of student you were?

It began with a Zoom call, followed by a task. After a challenging test, I got an email saying I was rejected, which was surprising. The interviewer was late and seemed distracted during the call, fidgeting with her teeth and hair.
