First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Merck KGaA.
Regulatory Affairs Expert
I applied online and HR reached out pretty quickly for a first chat, where I had to answer some set questions. After that, I got to talk with the hiring manager and a technical lead. It was a good and professional process, checking out both my skills and if I'd fit in. Soon after, I got a spoken offer and talked more with HR about the job, perks, and everything. Then it went to internal checks, and I got the final paperwork to sign. It was all pretty fast, organized, and I knew what was happening.

Environmental Specialist
So, the whole interview thing had two parts. First, I chatted with an HR person over the phone, just general stuff and some behavioral questions to see if I fit and why I wanted the job. Then, I went to the Merck office to meet with the manager. That part was more technical and about how I'd handle specific situations. The manager asked some really deep questions about topics tied to the job and what I know.

Commercial Talent
So I had like 3 rounds of interviews for this Curious Talents Program - Commercial role. First was with talent acquisition, then the regional manager, and finally someone from the team. Each chat was about 30 minutes and pretty chill. They asked me some behavioral questions using the STAR method. I didn't get it in the end because the job they offered me was totally different from what I applied for, and I told them I wasn't that interested.
