Marketing Communications Manager
I had a call from HR in Eastern Europe. Then, an in-person meeting in Darmstadt with my direct boss. After that, another call from HR in Eastern Europe. A second call, this time on the phone, was with the department head, and it was in English. Then, another call from HR in Eastern Europe. Finally, a third conversation with HR from Germany.
- How well can you handle stress?
Communications Specialist
Worst hiring process I've been through. Had an in-person interview, then waited over 5 weeks to hear back. A phone interview was set up with the hiring manager's colleagues. After 2 weeks of silence, I had to email the recruiter to find out the position was filled... very disorganized. Frankly, I'm glad I didn't get the job after that experience.
- Tell me why you are interested in working for this company.
- What is your understanding of our company?
- What motivates you to pursue a career in the life sciences field?
Communications Manager
So, I first did an online assessment, which was basically a behavior assessment, nothing too difficult. After that, I got a call to schedule an onsite interview. I met with the head of communication first, and then with HR. There weren't any really hard technical questions, and the interviewers were pretty nice.
- Based on your personal experience, what value can you bring to the department?
- What is the thing that annoys you the most at work?
