First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Marsh Risk.
Versicherungskaufmann
Project Manager
So the interview process started with an HR screening. After that, there were two interviews. The first was with the hiring manager, and the second was with some peers. They asked typical competency-based questions. The interviewers were friendly, and it felt more like a casual chat to get to know each other and for me to learn about the role. However, I didn't get any updates after the interview. I had to check the system myself after a month to see that I was rejected, and they didn't even send a rejection email.
- Can you share your experience and explain how it relates to this role?
Administrative Coordinator
Started with a recruiter call, then we scheduled a zoom meeting. The recruiter and the head of HR were both on the call. After that, HR became the main point of contact. Then, a second meeting was scheduled with a more senior person, which was more about exploring opportunities. There was an optional third meeting with an executive, which felt like a formality. HR kept me updated between meetings.

The interview will have a few parts. First, a brief personal introduction about you and your career. Then, we'll talk about your work history, focusing on benefits management. This includes your understanding of health plans, insurance, and other employee benefits, as well as your experience with data analysis in this area. We'll also check your technical skills with relevant tools and software, and your knowledge of labor laws and regulations. We'll also cover your soft skills, like how you handle conflicts and negotiate with providers, and how you work in teams and with other departments. Finally, we'll touch on how your values fit with Marsh's goals and how you foster an inclusive workplace.
- Can you provide technical details on calculations, acceptance criteria, and processes for employee benefit movements?
