The interview process kicked off with a phone chat where I learned about Marsh and the daily operations of the company. We also chatted about my future plans and my thoughts on the job opportunities. Following that, I was quickly invited for an in-person interview. I had to give a 5-minute presentation about myself and why I'd be a good fit. Then, I was asked questions about how I'd handle workplace scenarios and solve problems. We also discussed what it's like working at Marsh and briefly touched upon personal life. At the end, I was told I'd hear back soon, and I did within three business days.

It was an internal application, and my line manager recommended me. The interview had two parts: first a panel interview with skill tests, then a one-to-one with the section head. The panel interview included technical questions about unique client covers. They mentioned they weren't necessarily looking for the right answer but how I'd approach the query since the covers were specialized. After passing the panel, I had the one-to-one, which felt repetitive as I was rehashing information. In the one-to-one, they asked why I wanted to leave my section and if I had issues with specific colleagues, which I found unfair given my manager recommended me. I felt the internal process was harder than a general one because I had to act like they didn't know me.

It was a really long interview process with tons of approvals needed. The interviewers were nice, but there was a lot of bureaucracy. My interviews got postponed many times, and there was no decision at all. I'm not sure why they even posted the job ad.
