Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Marsh Risk.
Project Manager
So the interview process started with an HR screening. After that, there were two interviews. The first was with the hiring manager, and the second was with some peers. They asked typical competency-based questions. The interviewers were friendly, and it felt more like a casual chat to get to know each other and for me to learn about the role. However, I didn't get any updates after the interview. I had to check the system myself after a month to see that I was rejected, and they didn't even send a rejection email.
- Can you share your experience and explain how it relates to this role?
Project Manager
There were two interviews, the first one was about the company and the role, and the second one was a technical interview where the interviewer went through my CV. It seemed like there was no coordination between the two interviewers, and I finished the process not knowing what was actually expected of me.
- Nothing unexpected was asked.
Project Manager
It was a multi-layered interview process. First I spoke with HR over the phone, then I had a chat with the Direct Manager, followed by an interview with the Team Manager over the phone since he worked in another state, and then an interview with the team and a couple of people from the Sales Leadership team.
- What was your reason for wanting to leave your current position?
