First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MarketSource.
Sales Associate
It was a really quick and simple interview process, mostly just going over my resume. I got offered the job right away, which was great because it's a great company. The interviewer was nice and knew a lot, and she even went out of her way to suggest a different job within the company that might be a better fit for me.
- Can you tell me about your past experience working from home?
Salesforce Administrator
It was a great interview process overall. First, I had a recruiter screen, then an interview with the hiring manager where we discussed past projects at a high level and my cultural fit. After that, there was a panel interview with the team focusing on culture fit and technical skills. I got an offer and accepted it, though I did receive another offer later. The team culture seems great, and anyone would be lucky to join the Salesforce team.
- Can you tell me about custom objects in Salesforce?
- How do lookup fields work?
- What are junction objects?
Engagement Manager
After applying online and hitting them up on LinkedIn, I chatted with the recruiter. Then I had interviews with 3 folks: the recruiter, the hiring manager, and the client head of sales. The whole thing was pretty smooth. The interviews were pretty standard, asking about my past experience, my knowledge of the SaaS industry, and how I could meet client needs. The main reason it didn't work out was the salary wasn't what I personally needed, though it was about right for the role.
- Can you share an instance where you motivated other teams to promote a particular product?
- Could you elaborate on your past experiences?
- What is your understanding of the SaaS industry?
Brand Representative
Everything with the recruiter went really well and she even recommended me be put in at the highest salary. She forwarded me on to interview with the hiring manager. He and I also had a great interaction. He even said how he appreciated out talk and spoke as if I was already in the role. He said they will let me know the next week. I have almost 20 years of retail experience and cannot understand how after these interaction I received no response. A week goes by and I sent a thank you email to the manager and asked if they could let me know about the status of the position. No reply. I also texted the recruiter. No reply.
- Can you share an instance where you were assigned a task with a tight deadline?
