The process to get hired was long. It started with a recruiter call, then a take-home assessment, then a video questionnaire, followed by a second phone screen, and finally a face-to-face interview with the hiring manager. I think the recruiter didn't really highlight my experience to the hiring manager. Even though I have a lot of experience, I don't have a degree (partly due to an amputation and financial issues). That's when things went downhill in the interview. It felt like a complete waste of my time.

Applied online via their website or CareerBuilder, and was contacted by a recruiter fairly quickly. Had a successful pre-screen call, then an in-person interview with the regional manager. The recruiter later let me know they went with someone else. About a few weeks later, I saw the same job posted again for the same location and reached out to see if the new hire didn't work out. I never got a clear answer, and I'm not even sure if the program is still going on.

I was first contacted by a recruiter from HH working for Marketsource. The initial call was with the recruiter, who asked me to go into detail about my previous three jobs, covering my experience, what I did, and my accomplishments, along with my reasons for leaving or staying at each. Then, I was asked to go to Rochester, NY, for an interview with a zone manager. This was a more in-depth interview that focused a lot on my past experience and probed into my aspirations, what I expected from the job, and my future career plans.
