Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MarketSource.
Sales Associate
It was a really quick and simple interview process, mostly just going over my resume. I got offered the job right away, which was great because it's a great company. The interviewer was nice and knew a lot, and she even went out of her way to suggest a different job within the company that might be a better fit for me.
- Can you tell me about your past experience working from home?
Sales Associate
I sent in my application online, and they saw my resume so they gave me a call one day for a simple phone interview where they asked me about sales, customers, and things like that. Then, just 2 days later, they called me again to say they wanted to offer me the job. The whole process was super easy.
- What are some basic sales questions?
- Since I worked at Best Buy, what are some basic computer questions like "What is RAM"?
- What is a Hard-Disk?
Sales Associate
My interview experience involved a significant wait time of two hours because they seemed to have forgotten about me. I tolerated the long wait because I was in urgent need of a job. I didn't mention this to them as it might have come across as desperate. Instead, I framed it as a potentially missed opportunity.
- How do you perceive our distinctiveness compared to other mobile phone retail outlets?
