First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Localiza&Co.
Sales Consultant
It was a very dynamic process. The first interview was with a group of 10 people from different regions. The second interview was with the store manager, where we discussed my professional background. It was a pleasant and comfortable interview, and the manager was very attentive. The third interview was with the regional divisional manager. This was also a very healthy interview, with intelligent questions and an analysis of my professional profile. The next day, I received the approval and the offer letter. I'm now in the hiring process and very happy to be part of the #sangueverde team.
- What motivates you to join the Localiza team?
Business Analyst
The interview was supposed to be with the area manager and another business team member. Minutes before, they asked to reschedule. On the rescheduled day, the area manager didn't join, with no notice or explanation. A business team member joined and seemed lost, not knowing he'd be leading the meeting alone, and clearly uncomfortable. During the interview, he showed clear disinterest in my professional background — and I saw another review here very similar to what I experienced. He seemed to be looking at another screen and at people walking around him. At the end, I received NO feedback, not even an email saying 'thank you for your interest, etc'. I had to contact the team that initially approached me to find out I wouldn't proceed in the selection process and that the lack of communication was an ATS failure.
- If there was no initial parameter for comparing responses, how would you determine if the prompts given to the AI agent were appropriate?
Fleet Movement Assistant
The whole hiring process, from the initial contact with the recruiter, was excellent and very welcoming. The steps were straightforward, with a well-structured group activity that always respected the candidate's space. The onboarding process was simple, objective, and easy, featuring an innovative approach that, in my case, didn't even require leaving home, not even to go to the bank to link my account. I want to compliment the entire process. Congratulations on the practicality and organization.
- There were questions about me and about the reasons that led me to apply for the vacancy.
- The questions were simple and the activity facilitated showing the candidate's real objective.
Senior Gen AI Analyst
I was invited to a technical interview where I started presenting a real personal project about an AI agent platform, which directly aligned with the job opening. However, one of the interviewers interrupted my presentation, showing clear disinterest, and shifted the interview solely to an architecture design exercise, explicitly stating that only that artifact would be considered. The process felt very cold, operational, and disrespectful, with no effort to understand my professional background, strategic thinking, or technical decisions from over 10 years in software development and architecture. There was no discussion about the role's strategic importance, long-term vision, architectural trade-offs, product decisions, or organizational impact, which are crucial for a senior GenAI position. Three interviewers were on the call, and one left without any explanation, adding to the feeling of disorganization and lack of consideration. In the end, there was no technical feedback or in-depth questioning. The evaluation seemed to reduce my entire senior-level expertise to a single, isolated technical sketch, ignoring my technical history, leadership skills, experience with complex systems, and the presentation of an already implemented real solution.
- Could you design the architecture for a multichannel AI agent, keeping in mind scalability and the use of LLMs?
