They reached out to me. The first call was with an internal HR person who asked about my education and work history. They confirmed my interest in the position and mentioned I'd be contacted for a Teams interview with another HR representative if the selection process continued. Two months passed, and I'd almost forgotten about it. I was then contacted by email to schedule the Teams meeting. Again, they inquired about my educational background and work experience. They also asked about my current salary, and I stated it without any reaction. I immediately made it clear that to relocate to the office (which is 1 hour and 20 minutes away from home), I would only consider offers that at least match my current salary after accounting for gas and highway expenses. With this point clarified, they said I would be contacted for an in-person interview with the business team. I never heard from them again.

It was a 5-round interview process, all done remotely via video calls. They were looking for someone to manage construction projects, specifically for new hangars and runways. The salary offered was 43K lower than what I'm currently making, so I turned down the offer. They did offer meal vouchers and ongoing training.

  • Do you have experience with large construction sites?
  • How do you handle escalations during the construction phase?
