The interview process starts with an HR call remotely. The second step is an interview with the discipline manager and the relevant manager. The manager and discipline lead are very approachable and good at explaining the role.

About a month after I applied, I had a Zoom interview with Leonardo. Two people interviewed me, a manager and a senior manager. They mentioned how only 8 out of 200 candidates made it to the interview stage. The interview itself was a bit strange because neither of them had their cameras on, making it feel a bit odd talking to a blank screen for an hour and a half. The questions covered my coursework and how it relates to the job, as well as my experience with MATLAB. I got an offer about a week later.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you tell me about your experience with MATLAB?
  • How would you tailor your communication when speaking to management versus another engineer?
