the interview process was really straightforward. it was just 2 rounds, one with the manager and then one with the director. it wasn't overly technical, just the right amount. they mixed in some behavioral and technical questions. i'd say they really care about cultural fit and stuff like that, so you should definitely know the company's values and principles.

The interview process is pretty wild. The first attempt was back in 2022, where I got past HR and three interview rounds. The final stage involved two panel interviews and a one-on-one with the Finance Director, but I never heard back. The second interview process happened in late 2024. It started with an HR screening, followed by two rounds. The second round alone was a hefty four hours long. I was told there would be another round if I moved forward, but I didn't. Basically, be prepared to use a full day of PTO for interviews, and even then, it might not guarantee the job.

It was a mix of behavioural and situational questions based on my resume, which were pretty straightforward. They also inquired about any other job offers I might have, and I was advised to say no. There were many roles available, so it's important to interview for the right one. If they think you're a good fit for a different role, they might switch you, and the entire interview process restarts from the beginning.

Had a really nice and informative chat with the HR recruiter about two open positions. A few days later, I interviewed with the hiring manager for one of them. The conversation seemed to go well, and I felt I had a good shot at the next round, especially since I was told the recruiter would be in touch by the end of that week to sort out schedules. Well... that was two weeks ago. I get that delays happen, but is ghosting really the standard now? At this point, I know this isn't a company I'd want to work for.
