I applied through LinkedIn and got a call from a recruiter. The HR then verified my details, background, and qualifications. I also discussed how my education is related to the job role, mentioning specific subjects I know and their relevance. After about a week, the HR contacted me again to schedule an interview. During the interview, I was given an inventory problem and asked to provide insights on how to solve it, referencing concepts like economic order quantity and operations research.

The interview process was too long and had many tricky and unclear questions. I'm glad I didn't get the job. They made a big deal about why I was leaving my previous employer and not trying to fix things there. My answer was simple, 'to maintain my mental peace,' but they weren't convinced.

  • Can you describe your experience at a previous company and explain your reasons for wanting to leave?
  • Regarding your previous job, why didn't you try to change or fix the situation there? When did you decide to leave instead of address the issues?

We had a standard phone call with the recruiter, where we went over the company, the job, and what I’d expect salary-wise. About a week later, I had three video interviews with the hiring manager, Sr Manager, and Director. The interviews were set up on Webex, but the email with the meeting details didn't explain how to join using a Mac.
